After the success of our Alutecnic Retractable Roof Systems implemented previously at the Crown complex by the Melbourne Awning Centre, we were again approached by Crown to supply and install our Retractable Roof System for the Woods Bagot Architect Designed reconstruction of No 8 Restaurant at the Crown Casino Complex, Riverside Quays.

To increase the dining capacity of the restaurant and maximise the use of the terrace overlooking the Yarra, a redesign of the front patio area was required. The previous folding arm awnings which have limited all weather use where replaced with our Alutecnic all weather Evo Retractable Roof System. The system can be intermittently retracted to suit the weather for all year dining and the European design seamlessly blends with the restaurants classical European Influences.

Melbourne Awning Centre additionally supplied the Bromic Gas Radiant Heaters on the terrace. The stylish heaters are wind resistant with an even, comfortable heat distribution which means the outdoor area can be utilised regardless of the weather.
