The Rooftop at QT Melbourne  is the signature bar at the top of the boutique QT hotel on Russell Street. The fit-out keeps in line with the QT brand, luxe and glamorous, and impresses with a garden terrace that offers visitors sweeping views across the CBD. We worked with the hotel group to design a retractable roof with heating which means that the space can be enjoyed all year round, no matter the temperature or weather. 

The retractable roof covers an impressive 110 Sqm with a 20m metre span and a projection of 5.5 metres and smart heating solutions were supplied to warm the area in winter 

At first, our clients were unsure what was possible because the bar is on the 11th floor of the building, but our design and installation team worked closely to ensure installation was a seamless experience.
