For this project in Surrey Hills, Melbourne Awning Centre installed a retractable sunroof system on to the balcony of the property to provide our client with shade from the strong Australian sun, allowing them to fully enjoy their outdoor area in the upcoming summer.

Following the clients’ design brief of having wooden posts, we clad specially-created aluminium posts with blackbutt timber, native to the south east of Australia, to tie in the structure with the wooden aspects of the deck and the overall feel of the house. The stained timber combines incredibly well with the grey colour scheme of the property.
