The team at Goldilocks Bar in the CBD approached Melbourne Awning Centre to provide them with some options to make their rooftop bar more user-friendly in the winter months (and when the weather takes a turn throughout the rest of the year!), and we were able to offer them a custom retractable roof system as a solution (which included working around the trees and plants present on the rooftop).

We installed four systems from our retractable roofing range, which were installed to created a gabled roof that protects patrons from the rain in winter while allowing the brilliant Melbourne sun to be taken advantage of on warmer days! Though access was a hurdle (Goldilocks sits four stories up), it was nothing Melbourne Awning Centre couldn’t handle to provide our client with the perfect solution for their needs.
