Housed in a beautifully restored Melbourne heritage building in Richmond, once the site of the Commonwealth Bank, this multi-level venue has been restored in a gorgeous sleek art deco style. 

The clients wanted a customised shade solution up on the roof to make the rooftop terrace usable all year round, which would mean they can increase capacity and bookings. The challenge was designing for the unique space in a way that visually fitted with the heritage elements of the building, and also that was structurally sound. 

Our team designed a custom structure to adhere to this heritage building's constraints, and then carefully installed an all-weather retractable roof system that beautifully and seamlessly enhances the expansive rooftop terrace.
